In addition to housing and hosting, we offer a wide range of managed services to increase reliability and security of your servers and data. You can determine the level of outsourcing and, consequently, the complexity and quality of our services by completing a Service Level Agreement (SLA). Of course you may address your support contact for all questions related to the process and application. We never refuse to address questions, even those that may fall outside our expertise. Most customers have a personal contact person who is well-informed about the complete application and will help efficiently.

Our monitoring checks the status of your applications and servers in regular intervals, the Interlake team will be informed about any irregularity in time (if desired, you will also be contacted). Thus we can immediately initiate all necessary action.

We can minimize the risk of a total breakdown of your infrastructure by configuring a cluster. This guarantees a very high network availability. The cluster consists of a minimum of two servers with completely identical data. In case of a breakdown of the active (master) server, all user requests will be re-routed automatically to the second (slave) server. It is essential to regularly enact a data mirroring. We plan the optimal server landscape (quantity and architecture) and look after the integration and current process.

On highly frequented websites, the users can ideally be spread to several servers with the aid of a load balancer—making the application highly scalable.

As a backup, we recommend combining a cluster so that the load balancer does not become a security risk as a single point of failure. To avoid missing data, we regularly backup data on external storage systems, and also in different locations when requested.
