Data Centers
Network Services: All of our connected networks are fully redundant—right down to the network within the data centers. The fiber optic ring structures and multiple peering points to other carriers ensure high availability and scalable bandwidth usage. By using carrier owned and operated infrastructure, we minimize the use of congested public exchanges and private peering points. We provide high transmission speeds, minimal data packet loss and excellent service quality to multiple carriers.

Data Processing Centers: The Interlake Servers are housed by Colt Telecom, TelecityGroup and Level3 Communications. We also attend to many servers in customer-owned centers.
Access: Access to the centers is controlled by security staff 24 hours a day, and is only possible with a valid photo ID and authorization. Some locations employ biometric scan technologies. Once inside the building, the entrance to the data center is further protected by security gates, cameras and key cards. If desired, we also offer racks for exclusive use.
Fire Suppression: We depend on an active fire suppression system with dry pipes and a pre-action alarm in most locations. The control center permanently monitors the heating sensors. In the rare event of fire, the sensor alarm activates the FM 200 fire extinguishing system. This ensures the least possible server damage.
Cooling and Water Sensors: Several independent climate control systems keep the temperature and humidity inside the data centers at a constant, safe level. In addition, built-in water sensors will go off in the event of an emergency.
Power: All data centers are connected to separate power grids, which assures redundancy. In the unlikely event of a complete power breakdown, additional diesel reserve, batteries and damper will keep power running. This provides protection from power surges as well.
